Terms and Conditions
You wish to reserve one of our boats: we thank you for your trust and we do our utmost to ensure that this magical moment is unique and takes place under ideal conditions. Our sales team and crew are trained to welcome you with elegance, discretion, and expertise.

I. GENERAL PROVISIONS
These conditions are those of the company SEINE ALLIANCE SAS located in PARIS 75015 Port de Grenelle, referred to as “the Company,” which is responsible for operating the James and its e-boats. Confirmation of the reservation by the Client implies their unreserved acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. The Company declines all responsibility for consequences arising from non-compliance with these terms, without prejudice to damages that it may claim due to harm suffered as a result of such non-compliance.
II. RESERVATION CONDITIONS / PAYMENT
1. Option
You may place an option with our sales teams, which gives you priority until your final confirmation by payment of a 50% deposit. If a second confirmed client positions themselves for the boat on the same day at the same times, you will be duly informed and will then have 48 hours to confirm or cancel your option by paying the deposit.
2. Reservation
Reservations become final only after payment of a 50% deposit accompanied by the quote or contract signed by the client. Only this signed quote or contract, accompanied by the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, binds the Company.
3. Billing basis and payment
The balance of the base invoice must be paid to the Company before the day of the reservation. Otherwise, payment of the balance will be made at the time of boarding by credit card only. Any additional charges (time overruns, additional consumption, etc.) must be paid at the end of the cruise.
The price of the cruise includes privatization of the boat, crew, fuel, and services included in the signed contract.
4. Absence of payment on the day of rental
The Company reserves the right to cancel the rental, without recognized prejudice, in the event of non-payment of the entire ordered service.
III. CANCELLATION/POSTPONEMENT
1. By the Client
Cancellation by email at least 72 hours before boarding: the 50% deposit is fully refunded.
Cancellation less than 72 hours before boarding: the 50% deposit is not refunded.
2. By the Company
For any reason whatsoever, other than:
– non-payment of amounts due by the Client
– the occurrence of force majeure
– a directive from police services governing navigation on the Seine,
In the event of cancellation by the Company, the Client will be fully refunded all amounts paid, including deposits and balances. Under no circumstances will cancellation by the Company give rise to the payment of compensation or damages.
3. Postponement
In the event of poor weather conditions forecast (rain, snow, storm, etc.), the client may postpone their cruise up to 24 hours before departure and choose a new date with the sales team.
IV. RENTAL REGULATIONS
1. No equipment that could prove dangerous will be permitted on board our boats.
2. The Company declines all responsibility in the event of loss or damage to clothing, luggage, or objects brought by clients or their guests. The Company is in no way responsible for any object falling into the water.
3. The Company reserves the right to charge the client for any damage caused to the boat by themselves or a member of their group.
4. To avoid any delay, it is imperative that the client and their guests arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. Any delay on the part of clients will be deducted from the cruise time.
5. The Company will do everything in its power to ensure that the cruise takes place under the conditions specified at the time of reservation. Under no circumstances may it be held liable for payment of any compensation in the event of modification of the itinerary or schedule, or cancellation of the cruise, in compliance with navigation rules imposed by the General Police Regulations.
6. The Company cannot be held responsible for damages occurring to passengers during the cruise when they have been caused by one of the following so-called force majeure causes: sudden flood, storm, collision with another vessel responsible even partially for the accident, and any other unforeseeable event.
7. Passenger obligations: each passenger must comply, from the moment of boarding, immediately and strictly with instructions given by the captain.
V. CONSUMER MEDIATION
In accordance with Article L. 152-1 of the Consumer Code, you may use the CM2C mediation service free of charge, which we fall under:

VI. APPLICABLE LAWS
In the event of a dispute or contestation, French courts alone will have jurisdiction and French law alone will apply. In the event of a dispute with a commercial company, these will be submitted to the Commercial Court of Paris.
